Come join us for a 2-mile guided hike on one of the nature trails surrounding Arkabutla Lake, led by the US Army Corps of Engineers, exploring our area's native flora and fauna. Before the hike, Magnolia Wildlife Education, Conservation, and Rehabilitation will lead an onsite bird feeder crafting activity for kids. These feeders will be hung along the path during the hike. Additionally, the Master Gardeners will be present to offer detailed insights into the plant life along the trail. Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, enjoy the outdoors, and deepen your understanding of the local environment.
What to bring:
-Plenty of water for yourself and those in your party.
-Bug Spray
-Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, etc.)
-Comfortable clothes and shoes
-Daypack may be handy
-Snacks
-Rain jacket in case of light rain
