During the school year, we offer after-school classes for older youth ages 9-12 who are interested in developing a higher level of skill in the arts. Young artists receive direct instruction in drawing, painting, and mixed media. Students explore drawing from observation, color theory, and other advanced art making techniques as they build on their own unique creative passions.These project based classes focus on the how behind creating art on a 2D surface. Once a solid foundation is developed, students are free to creatively experiment with a broader range of materials and processes.
