The purpose of the Feasibility Study and Business Plan for Recreational Facilities and Sports Tournaments for the City of Hernando is to provide the city's elected officials, staff and recreation stakeholders the information to make strategic investments in recreation facilities and programming. 

The study is a multi-year, multi-phased plan for improvements to existing parks and recreation facilities and new facilities intended to improve quality of life and create sales tax revenue increases, new jobs and place a stronger stake in the region's sports tourism economy.
