Hernando City Court Rules and Dress Code:

  • No children under 6 years of age
  • No cell phones, pagers, or electronic devices
  • No weapons of any kind
  • No excessive talking and/or bad attitudes will be tolerated
  • Do not approach court personnel until name is called
  • Entry for court sessions will be prohibited if you are under the influence of any form of alcohol and/or drugs
  • SERVICE ANIMALS,  animal must remained leashed at all times by the handlers side, must be house broke, is not to be disruptive or aggressive to others (no barking growling biting)

  • No halter tops, tank tops, or muscle shirts
  • No shorts
  • No miniskirts–dress must be to knees
  • No hats or hair nets
  • No undergarments maybe exposed
  • No offensive writing or emblems
  • No revealing clothing
  • No baggy or excessively loose clothing
  • No pants hanging below the waist line

 

MASK ARE NOT REQUIRE DURING COURT PROCEEDINGS 

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a limited number of people allowed in the court room at one time. Only the individual that is on the docket unless you are a witness or victim on a case.  NO CHILDREN WILL BE ALLOWED . Your court date and time may be adjusted, to verify please call the clerks office at 662-449-3152.
