5) Approve Docket of Claims No.’s – 49317-49509

6) Approve Minutes from the Regular Mayor and Board of Aldermen Meeting on June 21, 2022, and Recessed Meeting June 24, 2022.

7) Request to add email dated June 22, 2022 from Chad Wicker to the minutes regarding June 21, 2022 item number 6212022-5.

8) Accept and Approve the FY20 Audit submitted by the Jarrell Group.

9) Consent Agenda

A) Approval to close Panola Street for the Mud Bug Bash to be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Panola Street to be closed on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Noon and all-day Saturday, April 22, 2023. 
B) Authorize Officer James Ratliff to attend Public Information Officer training in Columbus MS on July 18th -July 22nd 2022 and to pay registration and travel expenses.
C) Authorize Officer Sherita Morgan, Bernard Wade, and Michael Furniss to attend the Mississippi Association of School Resource Officer Conference in Biloxi MS on July 10th – July 15th 2022 and to pay registration and travel expenses.
D) Authorize Chief Worsham, Assistant Chief Ellis, and Captain Lanphere to attend FBI National Academy Training Conference in Gulfport MS August 7th-10th  2022 and to pay registration and travel expenses.

11) Sarita Drake with House of Grace to request a donation for FY23.

12) Robert Long with the DeSoto County Museum to request a donation for FY23.

13) Approve Independent Soccer Club Field Rental Policy for a fee at the Hernando Soccer Complex. The City Attorney has reviewed the policy.

14) Approval to the City Purchase Policy to reflect SB2371 amends Section 31-7-13 to increase the amount of a purchase to require advertising for bids from $50,000 to $75,000.

15) Authorize Police Vehicles VIN # 1GNSCLED7NR179449 and 2C3CDXKT2LH109629 as unmarked, pursuant to MS Code 25-1-87.  These vehicles replace previously unmarked police vehicles VIN # 1C4RDJFGXLC371286 and 2C3CDXKT8LH147401 that are now marked according to MS Code 25-1-87.

16) Authorize the retention and ownership of K-9 Luna by her handler K-9 Officer Ross Smith, who medically retired due to an On Job Injury on 06-30-22 pursuant to MS Code 45-3-52.

17) Authorize to advertise for the EWP project funded by NRCS for Forked Creek Parkway and Creekside Drive. The city’s share for the project is $93,673.00 and the federal share is $309,120.93.

18) Approval to abandon the right of way on McIngvale.

19) Discussion on Jaybird water tower plant tanks painting.

20) Discussion on Penny for Parks

21) Executive Session Police Personnel.
