6) Approve Minutes from the Regular Mayor and Board of Aldermen Meeting on 
October 17, 2023.

7) Consent Agenda

A) Approval To host the Hernando Water Tower 10K race on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 8:00 AM and close Panola Street.  
B) Approval for Deborah Rosenberg to represent the Hernando Police Department on the 911 Board.
C) Approval for the Mayor and Board of Aldermen, and City Attorney to attend the 2024 MML Mid-Winter Legislative Conference to be held January 9-11, 2024 and pay for travel, lodging and per diem.
D) Approval for Sgt A. Daly to attend MSRO on 12/3-12/8/2023 at MDCC LEOTA in Moorhead, MS and pay for registration and travel.
E) Approval for Lt Bramlett and Sgt Solomon to attend Glock MOS Instructor class at MLEOTA on 12/5-12/8/2023 in Pearl, MS and pay for registration and travel.
F) Approval for Lt J Bramlett and M Blevins to attend Sons of Liberty AR15 Armorers Course in Conway Ar. On 12/8-12/10/2023 and pay for registration and travel.
G) Approval for Mississippi Municipal Service Company to use the Gale Center free of charge (per the Mayor) for training purposes on 2/27/24.
H) Approval for Cassi Perry to attend the MMCCA Fall Leadership meeting on Nov. 16-17, 2023 in Oxford. The MMCCA pays for all expenses.
I) Approval for Katie Baker with Desoto County Child Protection Services to waive rental fees for the Gale Center to host a Christmas event for the CPS staff.
J) Authorize S. Witt, and T. Harris to attend Mid-Winters Fire Chief Conference in Ridgeland, MS January 30-February 1, 2024, also authorize to pay registration and travel expense. 
K) Approve to promote Corey Smith to the rank of Firefighter II at the rate of $15.13 per hour for passing Firefighter 1001 I-II and becoming a MS Certified Firefighter. 
L) Approve to promote John Slay to the rank of Firefighter II at the rate of $15.13 per hour for passing Firefighter 1001 I-II and becoming a MS Certified Firefighter. 
M) Approve to promote Peyton Coker to the rank of Firefighter II at the rate of $15.13 per hour for passing Firefighter 1001 I-II and becoming a MS Certified Firefighter.
N) Approval for Jared Barkley to engage Ironwood Merchant Service company to accept credit cards for special events in a mobile capacity and sign all contracts and purchase needed equipment.

13) Surplus 2014 Ford Explorer vin number-1FM5K8AR7EGA80581 and sell to the Coldwater Police Department for $1.00. The vehicle has major repair work that needs to be done.

14) Approval to appoint Nicole Hilario as Assistant City Clerk.

15) Approval to enter into a contract with DeSoto County for aerial GIS imaging.

16) Consideration of joining with the other cities in DeSoto County and DeSoto County to become a certified retirement community.

17) Request to approve any additional holidays between November 22, 2023 and January 1, 2024 declared by the Governor.

18) Approval to accept the lowest/best bid of $151,731.50 from Ferrell Paving, Inc and approval for the Chief LPA officer, Mayor Chip Johnson to execute and sign the contract.

19) Approval to accept the lowest/best bid of $211,866.00 from Southern Paving LLC. for the Asphalt Street Overlay Project.
