8) Consent Agenda
A) Approval to close section of Old McIngvale & School Road for Marx-Bensdorf Bike Race on June 23, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
B) Authorize Chris Lauderdale to attend Mississippi SCAUG training meeting February 21st and 22nd and pay for lodging. The training is offered at no cost.
C) Authorize Neil Waldrop to attend MS Water and Pollution Control Operators Training in Brookhaven MS on February 27th and pay lodging if needed. The training is offered at no cost.
D) Approval for Sgt Daly and A. Moore to attend Tactical Emergency Care on 3/11-3/14/24 at RCTA Meridian, MS at no cost to the city.
E) Approval for C. Subia to attend Advanced Roadside Interview Techniques on 3/4-3/5/24 at SHPD West Precinct and pay $350.00 for registration.
F) Approval for M. Massey to attend Search/Arrest Warrant Service Operator Level 1 on 4/1-4/8/24 at RCTA Meridian, MS. at no cost to the city.
G) Approval for M. Massey to attend Search/Arrest Warrant Service Operator Level 2 on 4/15-4/19/24 at RCTA Meridian, MS. at no cost to the city.
H) Approval for J. Ratliff to attend Professionalizing LE Community Engagement on 5/1-5/5/24 at Atlanta, GA. And pay $692.00 for lodging.
I) Requesting Board approval for Kudzu Playhouse to use the Gale Community Center for a workshop at no cost on Friday, February 9th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
J) Approval for Pam Pyle, Nicole Hilario, and Julie Gates to attend the Spring Municipal Clerk Conference in Meridian, MS on April 3-5, 2024 and pay for all expenses.
K) Requesting Board approval to enter into an agreement with Argo Entertainment, LLC to produce an Independence Day event with fireworks show at the Hernando Civic Center on Thursday, July 4th, 2024.
L) Approval to apply for a $5,000 Entergy grant with no match for Dickens of a Christmas.
M) Approval to apply for $170,000 Land and Water Conservation Fund grant for lighting at Milton Kuykendall Football Field and track. Grant requires a 50% match.

12) For age and health related issues, K-9 Kairo is in need of being retired. We are requesting the retention and ownership of K-9 Kairo to his handler, Officer Alec Vaughn, pursuant to MS Code 45-3-52.

16) Approval of project MDEQ agreement No. 498-2-CW-5.5 Downtown Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Engineering & Surveying Services agreement totaling $135,500.00 with Pickering Firm, Inc.
17) Approval to release the bond on the William Brooke Subdivision.
18) Approval to sell Bouchillon Park Property for the best/highest bid of $25,000.00 to Kimberlin, Inc.
19) Approval to apply for Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant funding from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks for repair work at the track located at Kuykendall Fitness Park. The program provides 80/20 matching grants, with the maximum award of $120,000. Applications submitted are for an award in October 2024.
20) Approval to accept the recommendation from the RFQ selection committee to select Kimley-Horn and Associates as the design firm for the Renasant Park Improvement project for 4 new baseball/softball fields, restroom concession building, parking area, and access road from Robertson Gin Road.
21) Approval to advertise Byhalia Road Water Plant and Water Well to be spent with ARPA funds.
22) Approval of Amended Resolution Authorizing City of Hernando credit card users for the Mastercard account.
23) Approval of Amended Resolution Authorizing City of Hernando credit card users for the Visa accounts.
24) Approval for the Animal Shelter to purchase an unbudgeted vehicle with donation funds.
25) Approval to surplus and dispose the items of no value listed below from the Police Department.
