The Optimists Club of Hernando will host the 4th of July Children’s Bike Parade on TUESDAY, JULY 2, 2024.
All bike riders must wear helmets
No motorized bikes or scooters
IN CASE of INCLEMENT WEATHER, the Parade will be canceled
The starting point will be the Hernando Baptist Church parking lot, 11 E. Center St.
At 6:30 pm the Hernando Police Dept. will hand out new bike helmets; they will also give bike safety instructions to the children.
At 7 pm the Parade will begin marching west on Commerce St., around the Courthouse Square, returning to the Hernando Baptist Church parking lot.
We encourage the decorating of bikes, trikes, scooters and participants in patriotic decor. Parents, Grandparents and friends are welcome to accompany the children in the Parade.
